You know what it's like to shop at ScandiPark: Great parking, helpful staff and a large selection of delicious frozen foods make for the perfect shopping experience. But what's it like to work at ScandiPark? The rest area in Handewitt is located close to the motorway on the Danish-German border and attracts numerous customers from both Scandinavia and Germany every day. There's never a dull moment here!

Versatile tasks and a strong team

From replenishment and customer support to administration and IT: 150 dedicated employees of all ages ensure that everything runs smoothly every day. About half of them are women. Together they are responsible for 2,500m2 of stock and 2,500m2 of sales area. That's a lot! The assortment includes around 25,000 different products that will delight both bargain hunters and connoisseurs. So yes - there's always something to do when you work at ScandiPark. And the employees are in high spirits: a strong team spirit and a high level of job satisfaction characterise the cooperation.

This means that the skilled sales staff are always ready to serve customers with a smile; at the checkout, among the goods, in the Funpark or at the team petrol station. If you look closely, you'll realise that a large number of them are multilingual - as the flags on their name tags reveal. In a company with an international customer base, strong language skills are of course worth their weight in gold. That's why employees who want to learn Danish have ScandiPark's full support.

A workplace with high ceilings

Employee development is generally something we prioritise at ScandiPark. Therefore, it is very common for employees to upgrade their skills and acquire new competences through courses. For example, it is possible to get a forklift licence with us if it is relevant to your tasks. Of course, ScandiPark also values work experience, but it's not essential for employment. The most important thing is that you are a motivated team player who wants to be part of the team.

In addition, the fact that people are different - and therefore have different needs - is taken into account as much as possible. Due to the long opening hours, Scandipark works in shifts. The advantage is that working hours can often be customised according to individual wishes. While some employees work best in a full-time position, others prefer to work part-time. This is no problem for us - for example, it's easy to combine work with family, university or leisure activities.

A foothold in the labour market

As diverse as ScandiPark's tasks are, so too is our entire team: from long-standing house staff to interns, all age and experience groups are represented. Many young people who see their future in retail come to us to become, for example, a store apprentice or to train in digital retail or inventory management. And what happens once they've completed the programme? Often they stay with us and get a permanent position - because ScandiPark is still developing rapidly and always needs skilled hands and minds.
