In Flensburg, there is one sport that outshines all others and has the most enthusiastic fans. We're talking about handball, of course. The fantastic atmosphere that the sport creates, the indescribable team spirit and the strong unity among fans is simply infectious - also for us at Scandi Park.
That's why we have been the main sponsor of SG Flensburg-Handewitt for many years, and last summer we extended our agreement for another two years. This handball club is an absolute heavyweight and a true star in the sports world - both in Schleswig-Holstein and beyond: the team has not only won the Champions League once, but also the German championship three times and the DHB Cup four times. This makes SG one of the best teams in Europe.
A wholehearted partnership

The cross-border dimension is another thing SG and ScandiPark have in common. A large part of the handball team is originally from Denmark, Sweden or Norway. Just like our customers. In addition, many SG players live with their families in Handewitt in the immediate vicinity of our shopping centre, so you can often run into them when shopping here or playing with the kids in the Funpark.
