Every summer at ScandiPark, we draw lots to see who gets to step on the big WAAGEN WULFF scale to be "weighed and celebrated" - and this year was no exception! Kilos and kilos of fantastic prizes and lots of happy customers.
Weight Winners: How does that work?
You've probably heard about our popular competition before. For example, on Facebook, on Instagram or in our catalogue. But just in case you're wondering what it's all about - here's a quick summary:
For a period of about two months, in July and August, every fortnight we found one winner who was invited to ScandiPark to be weighed and celebrated: that's a total of four rounds and four winners who went home with stacks of prizes. How did they do it? Simply by standing on the balance scale - the other side was then filled with either rum, chocolate, soft drinks or wine until the balance was reached. The winner got to take that amount home, free of charge! But that's not all, because they were never alone on the scales: in the first round, the winner was allowed one companion on the scales, in round two there was room for three companions, in the third round five and in the final round the winner including seven companions was weighed.
First round: Ready to party!
In the first round of the year, it was mother and son who stepped on the scales - together the duo secured 128 bottles of Captain Morgan. A huge prize that family and friends will of course also benefit from. This calls for a cocktail party and a festive mood! What more could you want during the summer holidays?
Round two: Everything for the sweet tooth!
We think you can never have enough chocolate in stock - and the winner of round two agrees! With the help of three companions, she is now the lucky owner of 1778 Marabou bars. That's a staggering 444.5kg, enough for family and friends alike. What's more, the winner decided to share the glory and donate part of his prize to an organisation that supports low-income people. Well done!
Round 3: Thirst quenchers for the whole family!
Summer heat is blazing, you're on holiday and an ice-cold soft drink in hand - it doesn't get much better than that! And that's probably how our third winner of the Weight Winner competition felt. He and five companions were weighed in Coca-Cola, resulting in the winner taking home 2,088 cans. To be shared with family and colleagues, of course!
The final: Late summer enjoyment!
It was a lucky winner from Schafflund who - together with seven friends and family - hooked the biggest fish: She won 786 bottles of Königsmosel! Luckily, they had travelled to Handewitt in four cars, with just enough room to transport the prize home.
