Behind the scenes at the truck wash

Motorhomes, minibuses, vans and trucks brave the elements - which is why they should be washed regularly. Plus, of course, it's much more fun to drive with a sparkling clean car. But how do you wash your vehicle thoroughly, quickly and comfortably? The best way is to visit a modern car wash that can accommodate large vehicles - and that's what we have at ScandiPark. At our rest area, it's no problem to treat your motorhome, minibus or truck to a wash. At Mr Scandi Truckwash, the wash height is 4.2 metres and the drive-through height is 4.35 metres. This makes our wash bay suitable for washing both lorries and camper vans. The wash bay is triple-tracked, which means there is plenty of space to clean the vehicle from all sides. This also means that there is no long waiting time.

Pure enthusiasm: 1,000 vehicles per month

It's an offer that travellers and truckers taking a break near the Danish-German border really appreciate, says Heiko Rasmussen, manager at the site. Every month, around 1,000 vehicles pass through Mr Scandi's Truckwash. And even more during the holidays. In addition to the car wash, Heiko Rasmussen is also responsible for the petrol station team Tankstelle and Mr Scandi's Carwash, which are also located in the ScandiPark area. So it's a busy and exciting workplace where there's never a dull moment.

On the go: also for campers

Camping holidays are popular - and have been since before the corona pandemic. If you cross the Danish-German border on your holiday in the south, ScandiPark is the perfect place to take a break. Not just to fill up the petrol tank or when the vehicle needs a wash, but also to buy delicious border goods for your trip. And Skandic & Nordic Reisemobile GmbH is your address if your motorhome needs repairs or if you need camping equipment. Yes, ScandiParkvikke may be a campsite, but you'll actually find both accommodation and sanitary facilities here, so you can get a good night's sleep before your next trip.
