While Christmas and New Year are all about celebration and enjoyment, some choose a more moderate approach at the start of the year. If you've also made good resolutions and want to drink a little less alcohol, read on now!

Eat healthier, exercise more, quit smoking, reduce stress: many people start the new year with good intentions. And since we at Scandinavian Park are connoisseurs, we also offer many products in our extensive range that combine health-conscious behaviour and joie de vivre.

In recent years, "dry January" has become increasingly popular. The phenomenon originated in the UK: after the festive season, people are encouraged to consciously abstain from alcoholic drinks. It's also said to have positive effects on the body, such as improved sleep, increased energy levels and potential weight loss. However, experts point out that short-term behavioural changes do not have a profound effect on health. If you still want to give abstinence a try, you can visit us at ScandiPark, just off the A7/E45 motorway near Flensburg.

Delicious cocktails without alcohol: recipe for Ipanema

We make sure that enjoyment is not forgotten - whether with or without alcohol. Our supermarket has a wide range of non-alcoholic drinks just waiting to be discovered by you. You can make delicious cocktails in no time with fruit juices, syrups and mineral water.

Ipanema, the non-alcoholic version of the Caipirinha, is particularly refreshing. To make it, you need half an organic lime, 1 tbsp cane sugar, 20 ml passion fruit juice, 60 ml ginger ale and crushed ice. First, cut the washed organic lime into wedges, place them in a glass and crush the fruit slices with a pestle. Now add the sugar, stir everything together and then fill the glass two-thirds full with ice. Pour in the passion fruit juice and stir again. Finally, top up the cocktail with ginger ale - cheers!

Buy alcohol-free beer and sparkling wine at ScandiPark

Want to give up alcohol but not the taste of wine, beer or sparkling wine? We can understand that. How convenient that many manufacturers have alcohol-reduced or so-called 0.0% variants in their range. Even spirits like gin are now available without alcohol.

But what most people don't realise is that there is a difference between 'non-alcoholic' and 'alcohol-free'. For example, non-alcoholic beer or de-alcoholised wine still contains traces of alcohol, meaning they can contain up to 0.5% alcohol by volume. The situation is different for beers that advertise "0.0%". Depending on the manufacturer, they can be completely free of residual alcohol or only contain up to 0.03% alcohol by volume.

Whether you're looking for a non-alcoholic wine, ingredients for your next cocktail night or a juice, you can find the right non-alcoholic drink for every occasion in our supermarket - so you can enjoy the flavour without worrying.
